WORKSHOP #7 - Saturday, 10:30 am - 12:00 p.m.
MICHELLE TOCHER, M.A.MJ.
Finding Our Passion Through Fairy Tales
|
Did you know that our ancestral
mothers spun fairy tales when
they were spinning thread?
Many of these powerful and
sacred tales carry the natural
wisdom of the feminine soul.
They move us into our feeling
depths, connect us with our
spiritual wounds and losses, and
help us to spin straw into gold.
Here is an opportunity to dive into magic of myth, hear a
fairy tale richly told, and make your own passionate
connections. With the guidance of storyteller/author
Michelle Tocher you will be drawn towards the moments
that move you. Wear comfortable clothes because we'll be moving our emotions through the story, and giving our
minds the opportunity to learn from our intelligent
bodies, hearts and souls.
Michelle Tocher spent the first ten years of her career
producing educational programs for health
organizations. In the late 1980s she became passionate
about the creative and healing powers of myth. Since
then, she has been telling myths and fairy tales, and
working with people who are suffering from mental and
physical illness. Her much-treasured books demonstrate
how we can bring the practical magic of myth to the
challenges of everyday life. They include How to Ride a
Dragon, Brave Work, The Tower Princess, A. Seeker's
Storybook, The Broad Mind, and her novel, The May
Queen.

quantity, and synergy:
Water that is filtered thoroughly,
replenished with essential
minerals, adjusted for alkaline
pH, broken into small clusters
ready for absorption, enriched
with healthy hexagonal arrays, and optimized in oxygen
content.
Air that is filtered of contaminants by all known methods,
enhanced with negative ions, and free of ozone and toxic
gases.
Sleep with correct support to the entire spine, proper
temperature regulation, passive massage, and increased
time in REM.

life to share this health approach with the world, one person and family at a time.

WORKSHOP #12 - Saturday, 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
PHYLLIS CHAPMAN
Visual Journaling for the Passionate Soul
|
Visual journaling is a creative
way to express and record life's
experiences, feelings, emotional
reactions, or our inner world -
visually and verbally. By using
dollar store watercolors, markers, pencil crayons and
images we can go deeper than
words so we may give voice to
our Passions.
You can expect to find Enthusiastic ways to take roadblocks
to self expression and turn them into stepping stones
towards self reflection for both personal growth and also
for leaving a memoir of one's life (if you dare).
Participants can expect to experience a sense of personal
mastery by discovering personal passion working with
images & archetypes, using a process approach towards
passionate painting and create a collage portrait of your
delightful passionate self.
Join us to discover art making as a source of playfulness,
excitement, passion and creative joy!
Phyllis Chapman - My love of art started when I was three and won the colouring contest in Sunday school; having
been buoyed up by public acclaim, I grew into a young
entrepreneur selling collage pieces. Exploring creative
whimsy with children through teaching allowed me to
share my exuberance every Saturday morning during my
teenage years.
I am currently seeking therapy for recovering art store
shoppers as my home is evolving into an asymmetrical
palette of purchases. Thus the blessed union of self-reflection, creative whimsy and passion for artistic
expression has led me to sharing the wild adventure of
visual journalling for the passionate soul.
NOTE: ADD A FEE OF $7.
