In a time when we are
bombarded with messages that
tell us we need to alter ourselves
physically, I say its time to
celebrate our natural beauty!
Each morning we look in the
mirror and make a judgement
about our reflection. Most often
that judgement is negative
because it is based on a socially
created image of beauty, not on true, natural beauty. As a
result we feel dissatisfied with our appearance and in
turn, with ourselves.
When we fully embrace our natural form, we start to live
free of judgement. When we accept who we are, how we
look and the choices we have made, all aspects of life
improve; from what we say to ourselves to how others
treat us.
In a safe and respectful setting, we will work in pairs to
capture your beautiful form in plaster and then use the
cast as a canvas for representing your life journey and
spirit. This will be a time of reflection, of sharing and celebration as I guide you through the process of visual
self-expression and exploration.
The workshop is limited to 12 women, so please don't
hesitate to call with any questions and then register early.
THE COST OF THE WORKSHOP IS $20 PER WOMEN
AND INCLUDES ALL MATERIALS.
(PLEASE NOTE: PRIVATE SESSIONS WILL ALSO BE
AVAILABLE FOR WOMEN DURING THE RETREAT
FOR $80).

SAGEWALKER
The Mother Project |
FINDING OUR PASSION
THROUGH RESURRECTING
COMPASSION FOR OUR
MOTHERS.
In order to embody as a
passionate woman, compassion
must be birthed for our mother. As we dare to meet all of who she
was or is, we look into one of our
soul's most exacting mirrors. The
Way we behold our mother, reflects how we “actually” see
ourselves as women.
And when we hold All of Her in the arms of love, compassion opens us and permits us to live passionately
in every way!
For the journey: Bring photos of your mother,
recollections of her darkness and light, her worst and best
self. Her greatness and weaknesses. Bring your longing.
Courage. And Kleenex.
Sagewalker, M.A., M.Ed is a psychotherapist, counselor,
educator, mid-wife of the soul; working since 1970 with
individuals, couples and groups in Canada, and
internationally to resurrect the divine feminine, develop
relationships as a spiritual path, wed spirituality and
sexuality, and birth the soul through the labour of selftransformation.
