Welcome to Pelee Island Workshops and Retreats, an island business created to
provide individuals, couples, families and groups with relaxing and restorative
"Time Away." Our major annual event is Total Recall, a women’s weekend now in its eighth year.
Total Recall VIII – June 12 - 14, 2009
This year's theme is "Passion" and we are looking for presenters, practitioners and vendors for our 2009 event.

NEW THIS YEAR
At the Founding Mothers' meeting this past fall, many innovative suggestions emerged from their bowl of wisdom. There was a general consensus that changes should be made to create a greater atmosphere of play amongst the women. Also, we agreed we wanted to work on providing an ambience that would encourage greater communication between the participants.
With this in mind we have reduced the number of workshops. And new this year we are providing the option for women to participae in one or two Island Tours. These tours will take you to prime tourist sites on our island and give you a panoramic view of our mystical place on the earth.
Our outstanding Keynote Speaker, Veronica Tennant, will speak to us at the event site. The Gala Dinner will focus on wonderful food, wine and rich conversation with one another.
Following dinner we will gather on the Winery's outside deck and dance under the stars. Throughout the evening women will be free to offer their entertaining talents. Let us know if you might be interested in sharing your talents.
I hope you are excited. We are! Just imagine a weekend with 200 women on an island in the middle of Lake Erie. There is a time to play, a time to learn, a timeto be the change you want to create. And probably most importantly . . . A TIME TO DANCE!
The Lindsay Rogin Scholarship Fund
a fund dedicated to the memory of Lindsay Rogin, designed to assist with the registration costs for deserving women who would otherwise be unable to attend Total Recall. We are now accepting donations. Make cheques payable to Pelee Island Workshops and Retreats, and note on them “Lindsay Rogin Fund.” Monies will be awarded based on financial need. Applications will be available soon.
Letters of invitation have been sent to past presenters, practitioners and vendors. We’re always looking to expand the seminars we offer at Total Recall, so if you are someone interested in presenting, offering your talents, or selling your creations, or if you know of someone who fits these criteria, contact us. Founding Mothers
The Founding Mothers are a group of 12 amazing women who have been dedicated to the vision and spirit of Total Recall since the beginning. In spring 2005 they formally gathered as a unit and have committed to be a wisdom bank, a support and reference group. They meet three times a year to keep a finger on the pulse of Total Recall and the state of the world as it relates to the roles and responsibilities of women. It is with a great debt of gratitude that we thank them for their vision, their wisdom and their ongoing support. They are:

Mission Statement
Total Recall is an inspired initiative created to gather
women for personal and collective empowerment.
Annually, during Solstice Time, women gather on Pelee Island
to dance, sweat, learn and share. The weekend is an exchanging
of goodness and talents that could not take place without
the gifts of the gathering's founding mothers, presenters,
staff, and participants.
